Reminder: GIAA Members who join Actors Equity can receive a discount on the initiation fee of AEA's membership! If GIAA is your parent union, AEA will give you the amount of GIAA's initiation fee as a discount. This can result in a $350 deduction on the $1,000 AEA entrance fee. Of course, members who are not in good standing with GIAA will be denied Equity Membership. It is in your best interest as an acting professional to remain current with your GIAA dues.
